All About Natie
Natie Lasaleta Sotana was born and raised in the Philippines. Natie finished her degree in Bachelor’s of Science in Pre-Med before coming to Canada in 1982. Natie is married since 1983 to her college sweetheart Cris Sotana.

Cris was a veteran realtor for Vancouver and Fraser Valley for over 20 years but has now dedicated all his energy on running their Canada Immigration Consultancy as the President and CEO. They have two lovely daughters, Cristie Lane who finished her course in Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Conservation and International Affairs at the University of British Columbia, she is also now a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. Her second daughter, Gerna Lane, a beauty Queen and Model, is a successful copywriter for a prestigious company.
Besides two beautiful daughters, Natie and Cris have opened their hearts and home to four adopted children, Jessica, Nicholas, Meranda and Austina. Natie and Cris is now also a proud grandparents to Nathaline, Geyo, Kaiden and Caleb.
As a professional and devoted immigration consultant, Natie has been helping people all over the world but especially our “Kababayans” to come to Canada since 1992. Natie & Cristie also extended their services pro-bono to those who truly can’t afford the expenses for their application or appeals. Natie finished her immigration course and got her diploma from The University of British Columbia (UBC).
Natie and Cristie deals with all types of Canada Immigration applications. They have also represented court appeals for Canada Immigration applications. Beside permanent residents, live-in care givers, workers, students and visitors, Natie and Cristie has also helped many Filipino singers, entertainers and movie actors from the Philippines to come and entertain the Local Filipino Community. Through her profession as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, it allows her to travel back to the Philippines four to five times a year to conduct free Canada Immigration Seminars all over the country.
Natie is a proud member of the Philippine-Canada trade council, in which she had the opportunity to meet with business leaders, and political figures from Canada, the Philippines and other Asian countries. Through her career as an immigration consultant, Natie had the opportunity to dine with and also host in her home in Surrey some of the Philippines’ famous personalities such as Jolina Magdangal, the Sex Bombs girls, Lorna Tolentino, Melanie Marquez, Paulo Bediones, Tony Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, Parokia ni Edgar, Retrospect, Manilyn Reynes, Kuya Germs, Tirso Cruz, Bamboo, Jed Madela, Jose Mari Chan, Arnel Penida, etc.
Natie, Cris, and the family have also taken on a project called “CHRISTMAS TREAT” in which they first sponsored15 to 20 children that has now ballooned to more than sixty children of the very poor families from the very remote areas in the Philippines and brought them to the city (Iloilo City) for a whole day of fun and Christmas Treat, these includes, bringing them to the mall for shopping, taking them to restaurants, and buying them special presents.
Natie’s pride and joy is her family and friends and being able to help others through her business as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and her being able to share her good graces to others who needed it the most.
Natie supports local community organizations by volunteering her time on programs dealing with immigration. In recognition of her community service, professional success and competence, she received the Most Outstanding Filipino-Canadian in Business and Community Service Award from the Bb. Pilipinas World of Canada Association in Toronto, Canada in September 2006.
